About Dr. Campagna
Dr. Campagna obtained her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. During her time in graduate school, she gained clinical training at Harvard-affiliated training sites to begin specializing in the treatment of anxiety, OCD, and related disorders. Dr. Campagna also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Mass General Brigham Salem Hospital, where she specialized in the neuropsychological evaluation of children, adolescents, and young adults facing a wide range of challenges including autism, mood-based disorders, and learning difficulties. Dr. Campagna's research focuses on investigating the role of traditional and social media in the development of body image concerns in young women and mothers, particularly during pregnancy and the postpartum period. In addition, her interests include the development of resources such as social media literacy interventions for promoting positive body image. Most recently, she has co-authored papers focusing on traditional media and the stereotypes of physical attractiveness and social influences.
